As someone who’s not a streamer but a bit of a compeltionist, this game legitimately took me a good 180 hours on my first playthrough using 0 guides and doing basically everything. And even then once I finished that play through I realized I didn’t even do everything possible for my play through. This game is a god damn behemoth of content and it’s ALL good it’s insane how much they managed to pack into it and how consistently fun it is and it gets better as you go it’s incredible.

@@marcusgabriel8365 i also got lost as fuck during act 2 which definitely added a lot to my play time. The mausoleum really kicked my ass not having any guides and just brute forcing my way through most of it. And I spent a few days trying to get past both Balthazar and Yurgir. Let alone solving the puzzles with no guide was legitimately hell on earth for me. And I also didn’t help halsin, I didn’t realize that whole quest line was something that had to be done before attacking moonrise towers so I missed literally all of that stuff and am trying to go back on a second play through now to get to it. But I should also mention that I spent a ton of time in act 1. I used both methods to get to the shadow cursed lands in act two. I traveled through and completed everything in the Githyanki crèche, as well as traversing through the entirety of the under dark and getting all of those quests done as well. So that took a good chunk of time as well because the under dark is absolutely unforgiving at lower levels.

In a round of combat, you can move a certain amount, perform an action (those abilities in green), and a bonus action (those abilities in orange). There are also reactions that you can do in response to an enemy action. Opportunity attack is one of those that allows you to hit the enemy automatically when you are close and they run away from you. One more thing with actions: some abilities have “concentration” by them. These are abilities that you can only have the effects of one at a time. So once you perform a new concentration ability, you cancel the effect of the previous one you did. Also, when you get hit while concentrating, you have to roll a constitution saving throw 10 or higher to see if you stay concentrating successfully. If you fail, concentration is broken. Ideally, in a round, you want to utilize your movement, action, bonus action, have your concentration on something, and utilize reactions when you can. You only get one of each typically per round, so using all of your resources a smart way of playing. Hope this helps a bit. It’ll get easier over time!

Cause the story, game play, world and characters are all amazing and you have easily hundreds of hours of game play across multiple runs because of Origin characters, dark urge, just your own creativity/morality.
