I used Kaivac machines for years, and after working with the CR2 i hate it. It works like a Kaivac, and they probably share the same mechanical parts. The problem i have with the CR2 is its not very convenient for the user compared to the Kaivac. On the CR2 the chemical mixer valve is on the bottom of the machine when the Kaivac has it on top. The Kaivac also has a vaccum wand clip that locks it in place when the CR2 has a cumbersome velcro clamp. The Kaivac also has a vacuum hose hanger on the front instead of the side, and it also has spray bottle holders.
