Great review not a big fan of the fried crabcake but you peeked my curiosity to check out the menu online and read some reviews, the prices look reasonable, and the reviews were really good. We stayed in the area of 48th street way back in 2016 and ate at Belly Busters, and it was one of the highly recommended places at the time. Considered a sleeper by many workers in the area. My main reason for going there was for they're deep fried oysters. They were one of the few restaurants to offer them, and they were great! Glad to see they are still serving up good food! Give them a try. Thanks for the reviews!!

The manual dexterity shown, holding the camera while trying to open the container is a lost art when rating crab cakes JB. Since you are a professional at this, through extensive field testing - I think you & Ashley should invent a quick release container. Looks good. Not lump meat, but there is enough to satisfy your tastebuds. Fritters matter. U'all are hooked on them now. Little over a week until we return to the shores. * " Are you even listening to me" had me laughing at the end.

We were down in O C for 2 weeks, and stayed at Ocean Colony close to Belly Busters we ate there a lot very good place to eat.

Great review. Thanks! We live on 50th St and go to BB’s often. They’re known for Fish Taco’s, Crab, Soup, Onion Rings, etc and never tried crab cake, prefer broiled over fried too. The subs are great. Hangout for locals and staff have all worked there for years, keep coming back because they have good owner.

Ashley and I were talking about how great it would be to hang out there - sit outside and watch coastal highway or even sit inside because it was pretty cool in there! That menu looked fantastic, we'll be back for sure. I can see why so many like it there.

We stumbled across this place years ago and now we always stop there to eat. Never had the crab cakes but all the food I ever tried there was excellent.

I try not to be generous at all because then it wouldn't be an honest review. The fritters were good, but I forgot to add they were pretty chewy. By my 3rd one my jaw was hurting.

They do. Haven't tried the Crabcakes . We have gotten the steamed Shrimp there and it was very good. It's a very small place.

I thought it was going to be dry too! Especially with the outter portion cooked like that. The fritters have a light dough batter with peppers and conch. Theirs were a bit chewy, but good. Definitely can only have a few because of how chewy they were.

Really enjoy the videos. Two recommendations. Unsolicited of course, get a camera mount so you can use both hands. And do an end of the year naming your favorite pizza, crab cakes, etc.etc. We have a place in north pines

Definitely check out OC Uptown Eats. We tried the crab cakes at Crab Cake Factory and didn't care for them too much, but someone else said their all lump are the best?

Just got back to the Hotel with Hannah's...Triple Tails...Double Crab Cakes and Ahi Tuna...If I didn't ask for extra Drawn butter we would have gotten none...no Tartar but we had a bunch left from Watermans the other other night ...kinda disappointed I ordered on toast

They are usually spot on! Maybe it's new staff because summer is over? Either way no excuses for them, those are pretty simple things to check.

Damn. We usually just get crabs 2 go and it ticks enough boxes. But the best one I’ve had is in Annapolis. Paid $29 for it. Try nicks house of ribs. Good food but they serve too many options. Worked there and it’s chaos. But they have a crab cake that you can get with ribs. They’ll deliver it but ocean city is huge…ew.

JB, just ate at Pines Public House. Two pieces of lump. Not good. Mussels were great. Steak ordered Medium and got rare. Sent back, came medium rare. UGH!

Why not let Ashley hold the camera while you get things ready? lol The crab cake looks over fried to be honest. So even though there's no lump crab, are you saying there's not a ton of filler? The fries do look good. Not sure I'd make a point of stopping there. And Jay.....listen to your wife!! lol

Eaten at BB's many times. Always good but never tried their crab cakes. Never a fan of fried though. Also serving a crab cake in Maryland with tartar instead of cocktail sauce? That's crazy in itself.

I prefer broiled too. We've done about 30 reviews and only 1 gave us cocktail sauce. All the others have been tartar.

Some fried can be good. BJ's On The Water had a good fried crab cake, but I like broiled better.
