It's a fun system. If you've ever played Star Realms it's sort of the same system.

I guess my fear is that with anything Fantasy Flight it might not have longevity and support. I used to play Netrunner and when they ended that I was so mad. Such a good game.

Standalone games like board games and deckbuilders don't really need "support" though. The box is all you need. Granted sometimes they make expansions but that's not always required for single box games.

@Crabbok True. Expansions is what I'm talking about. If the base game is gripping enough than you don't really want the pipeline to end. Guess I'd have to give the game a go to see if it's worth it.

My oldest kid (8) is getting into clone wars stuff, this will be a fun game for us to pick up.

I've already played this game, and it's a lot of fun! Something to note is the power creep between this version and the original. Cards, on average, are much more powerful here. Later on in the game, it becomes much easier to one-shot a base if you don't have multiple capital ships out to help create a buffer.

Why did you take off the shrink wrap!!! You cut it's so perfect you could have tape the shrink wrap to the inside of the box so the shrink wrap stays ontop of the box and give it protection

SWU is a collectible trading card game like Magic in which you construct decks before a game. It's a different beast.

They put in 3 of a lot of cards, just to not put in more unique cards. Disappointed. Og game never had any card 3 times.
