Amazing. My dad showed me crack the sky as a little kid and told me stories of how great their concerts are! I would love to see crack the sky live!

Great solo for sure, but if you're looking for a little more "hang low," check out the version from Ram's Head Live in Baltimore, the city where "Squeegie Boyz" will shoot and kill ya (literally) if ya don't give 'em a dolla. Seriously, check out the video.

@@zephead843 B-more is my home, and it's getting hysterical how so many whiners clutch their pearls at a little crime. Tell ya what, get rid of the corrupt pig shop and watch crime go down. If you act scared around folks, they notice. Treat these folks like people, no issues. Funny, the only ones I've heard whining are racist wyt pipo.

I would argue that this was my favorite song of my first 25 years. The first time i heard it on the radio, I was convinced it was Pink Floyd. I'm glad we had CD's by then, because if it was a cassette, I would have worn it out in under a month.

Nice, alright Ricky, Sounds like Bowie Floyd. Very good. I didn't know this was made. I have the early Crack the Sky stuff. animal notes, Safety in number. Saw their last concert as a national touring act at the Mosque. Very good show. I have worked as an audio person with a few of these guys several times in other acts over the decades. Good stuff.

This band is NO version of Pink Floyd! This song sounds a bit like Floyd, yes, but they have sounded like everybody at some time or another. If they are a "Poorman's version" of anything, it is the Beatles.

@Raimundas Verikas That would not be possible as Kansas' debut album came out in 74 (band named Kansas started in 70) and CTS first album was in 75.

When I saw them in early 72 as Uncle Louie they were doing covers of some Ziggy Stardust songs, when I listened to the first album it reminded me of ziggy Sta.rdust Bowie, at least the singing did.

strange how two people took this as some kind of insult. There can be more than one genius and neither genius is insulted.
