I was at this show like many of you. I have seen CTS at least a dozen times, most recently at the Oaks theater near Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. The best band that almost nobody has heard of.

I didn't see CTS live until 2003, at Oriole Park. But I heard about the band, been listening since 1985 ish. Tightest band I've EVER seen live! And I've seen a LOT of bands!

Actually I heard about the band in 1977ish? My friend had a band and they covered one of CTS's tunes. Can't remember which one one. Surf City maybe?

Always wondered about that..I saw the Indigo Girls there just before the fire..it had to have been an inside job..in the 11th grade at Hereford High I was washing dishes at the Four Corners Inn..Climadonkey was the house band who morphed into the Ravens eventually Band of 1000 names and somehow Crack the Sky..I don`t remember the details...Little Feat recorded their 1st record just down the road and were playing at the gas station across the street..Buzzy Linhart was one of the regular acts as was the great Muddy Waters and his band who were the first professional bar band I`d ever heard..in a dinky little club..times have changed.

Very much like the New Year's show I saw there that year. I do remember JP dressed in a suit with shortish hair, and the Softtones, and the Crack Pack horns. Oh, and the finale was a super rendition of "I Am The Walrus". Everybody was standing for the entire ~10 min. of that. Same show? (Maybe you did a series of shows at that venue, that year...) Great Band! Thanks for the clip and the memories.
