Good morning. I am just starting to whittle and or carve. I have only done 2-3 small pieces. Have a lot to learn and just like anything practicing should help! Just think its cool to take a piece of wood and turn it into something. Need to find time to start back up though. Hoping to. I was gifted one of these knives this year-i bought it and had my wife give it to me for Christmas from my daughters-it was half off and it was $87.99 at a store called Woodcraft $175.99 regular price. Awesome to hear. Flex Cut got me back into wood carving also. Making things for the wife is always a good way to motivate yourself to try and finish new whittling / carving ideas. I hope your carving / whittling takes off and I'm sure your hobby will grow along with your skill. Beaver Craft and Morakniv are other brands of wood carving that I recommend checking out if your ever look for more tools to add to your collection.
