Hey my friend! Sorry....I've got to get caught up....I've been out of commission with my spine again. I saw this dash repair/rebuild and just had to watch it. It's reminded me of all my time fiberglassing the car audio builds that I was a part of back in the late 90s. Man....now I know why the good Lord give us a trillion brain cells! LOL! I saw you mention the Harbor Freight "Dremel"...yeah...it's weak. Honestly, the actual Dremels themselves have went down hill as well. I believe I may have saw you use some of the Milwaukee M12 tools before. If so, or if not, their version of a rotary tool is a BEAST sir! It uses all the Dremel attachments but is so much more powerful. The torque is where it's at. You can't bog it down even with the small 3.0 batteries. Then if you use the 4.0 or 6.0, you will not have to go to another tool for that fiberglass work. I promise you! Even if you have to start out with this kit first, get a battery and charger combo with it....then get you batteries at Vanon batteries. Google them. They make packs for all the big companies and cost so much less! I definitely recommend the Dremel brand plunge router attachment. It's around $30 but can be used like a mini drill press allowing you make straight predrilled holes. Ok.....man I could talk tools for days! Thanks for all the hard work that it takes to go the extra 100 miles to make these videos for us. I hope everyone knows just how much more work it adds to an already tiring job! God Bless you my friend!

Watching this early on I was thinkin this was just going to be some low-budget, ghetto job but you definitely have the skills to do this. Why someone hasn't hooked you up with a sponsorship and a shop full of proper professional, tools is beyond me. I'm not sure where you're located but you could offer apprenticeships to your local community and share your skills and teach a trade that never runs short of work. Best of luck to you! Sorry, but I get all wrapped up. My son started out with body work shop in high school and went on to work on tuner cars then airplanes and helicopters and currently he works for a company that builds multi million dollar fishing boats and he has been blessed with the opportunities to work with people with the passion and skills that made him the finisher he is.

You’re welcome and you deserve more. I did a quick ff through the video and he was impressed with the processes and blown away by the end result. Not being even a little bit knowledgeable about this type of work, I asked if it compares to just buying a new one He said well, first off you get something custom that pretty much no one else has and second, it will outlast and dash on the market. Good luck with all you do!

I read about you on Facebook. Know part of your struggle. Glad to see you did it man. Kept your head up and keep digging. Some people can't do that. Hope you accomplish all your dreams. God bless.
