Hey! I came across your youtube channel way back when I had my first child and you motivated me to start skating again. I actually think this style of video is great. A little bit of a chat about what's been going on and then some skate footage. Far out man you have come a long way! those transition tricks are no joke scary.

Hey, thanks for the comment! Stoked that you got on the board again! Kids take time, I feel like after the first year time for my will release a little more with having 2. I'm just lucky that lil transition is super mellow - so much fun!

I’m honestly impressed with how some of the people I know manage to get out there despite being much busier in life than I am. If I was to work more and have a kid, not to mention a house and not just an apartment I’d be struggling with time too. It’s all about getting hyper structured I guess? Personally like a review from time to time but I equally just enjoy skating and hearing about the process of learning whatever it is you’re trying to do. Also sorry about the injury. I had some rib problems when I was younger and remember how bad that actually was.

Yeah, people who have kids and a FT job and still do this blows my mind. Maybe you're right, I need to get a better structure. But then say weather plays parts and body in things lol. Thanks for the feedback as well, all is appreciated!!

Hey man! Great to see you back! You’re not making excuses, you’re setting priorities. It’s hard to fit everything in, especially when you have your first baby. You’ll see that skating will always be there and when you have the time and energy , you’ll enjoy it more than ever. Look forward to your videos, whenever you post. Be well!

Love this. I have some good tips on using shoe goo and old shoes to make patches and I can extend some shoes for weeks and weeks even with regular skating. Another one I do is grind down the tip of the tail as it razors. It’s not dramatic but it does shorten the tail By a mm or so each time. But it keeps a solid pop.
