Kerosene hat and the golden age are probably the 2 most underrated albums of the 90's ..... especially the golden age which is a complete masterpiece from front to back .. it still blows me away to this day and is still one of my go to albums .. great great band

such a great band, better than u2, REM and the rest - but, as i understand it, they chose to play clubs, not stadiums (because they are not only a great band, but also fine & decent human beings)

One of the best American LIVE-BANDS with one of the best guitarists around! WORLDCLASS SOLO GUITAR GREAT BASS GREAT SINGER (without "real voice") and, most of all A WORLDCLASS CATALOGUE. Some years ago I saw them playing a worldclass set in Sweden in front of only 45 people! 2 hours! One of the best concerts I have seen, and, trust me, I have seen hundreds!

Been a fan since first album... seen them twice. Never good live like the album material. Even with just 4 they still rock. Normally on an album there are many more players. David Lowery is an awesome song writer. Been with me for many years. Always wanted to meet him... Were like twins... I also write and play... also look almost identical... although hes a few years older. I had people ask me before if i was him after my band performed.

no, seen them twice, once they opened with one fine day (blew me away), the other i don't remember, but it certainly wasn't low - both times t'was at the chelsea club, vienna, austria
