Very nice movie car collection. Those ERTL KITT/KARR batteries are indeed quite tight fit, but have found they come out the easiest way by using magnet. Interesting that chase KITT scanner not working even with new batteries. Certainly I'm curious why it doesn't work, as I have three of these ERTL Knight Rider models too, so far working. In the past I've heard one other case where ERTL KITT scanner didn't work, but never heard back if the fault was found.

Thank you! Gonna try to get this chrome one figured out for Glen. It’s a beauty so sucks it doesn’t work. I’m hoping just something simple.
