How to prepare for the SSB interview?
The Service Selection Board (SSB), set up by the Ministry of Defense, undertakes a multi-day comprehensive interview process to evaluate prospective candidates for recruitment into the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.
The benchmarks on which the candidates are assessed include intelligence, personality, compatibility and leadership potential.
Through this video series, #LeadersOfRGCS, all military veterans with decades of experience in the Armed Forces, are going to guide you through the preparatory aspects of the SSB interview.
The first video, showcases Capt. Raghu Raman - President Risk, Security & New Ventures, Reliance Industries, who shares vital insights drawn from his experiences.
Raghu Raman, the former CEO of the National Intelligence Grid has a unique blend of career experiences. Raghu began his career with the Indian Armed Forces and during his 12 year stint there, he was in operations in Punjab, then in the frontline at the highest battlefield in the world in Siachen Glacier followed by a tour of duty in war torn Angola as a UN Peace Keeper. Raman's last stint with the army was as an instructor in prestigious School of Armoured Warfare teaching young officers leadership and combat tactics.

U have to face the SSB if u want to join the armed forces as a commissioned officer There are various entry like NDA, CDS, AFCAT , NCC SPECIAL ENTRY FOR ALL THE RESPECTIVE BRANCH, JAG ENTRY FOR LAW ASPIRANTS , UGC ENTRY FOR ENGINEER ASPIRANTS , TECH. Sir, To me you are the "mark of a man" . Your presentations, just extempore. The image you relay about the Indian Army, no adjectives stand a chace to accredit them just beyond compare. I know that every word you speak about our Army is worth beyond any conspicuous substance of this planet. Candidates with high level sifarish are selected there when i had gone at centre some years ago for selection a candidate whose relative was Lt Gen at army headquarter selected. Shame on army. Everyone at least once should appear for SSB. I was an ordinary candidate, almost with zero confidence due to some incidents of the past, gone to 2AFSB Mysore through AFCAT entry. Cleared PABT but failed to get recommendation. But that changed my life completely. Since then, whichever endeavour I took, I'm getting success. I became a BELIEVER, now I will be an ACHIEVER very soon.

Sir, i have given ssb for 7 times, and every time i got stuck on one or another phase. Still i feel that i have all those OLQs which are desired to be an armed force officer. Some how i am failing to represent those qualities over there kindly tell me how to overcome this problem.
