Ashutosh is forgetting the fact that in Maharashtra, there were lots of fighting before seats were finalised by Mahagatbandan, whereas Mahayuti finalised smoothly or atleast the fight did not come to open. Such examples show that INDI has not succeeded.

INDIA alliance would work mostly at the national level,for Loksabha elections only.. At State level,it would prove to be self destrutive for its members (ie the various parties) Except in a particular State or a few consituencies where none of the INDIA menbers is strong,then they may think of joining hands together .. Each political party has a right to grow and no one has come here for any charity....Thus,it is quite natural that no member of the INDIA alliance would want its other INDIA partner to grow at its own expense...

Agree with your assessment, but #Congress must shed it's arrogance and laidback attitude. They know they're the largest opposition, hence the arrogance - how Haryana & Maharashtra were lost is hugely disappointing & frustrating - taking loss from the jaws of victory - They need to get their act together!

This alliance only exists to make RG PM. Regional parties wouldn't get it. Kejriwal had plans to make himself PM candidate. He is sidelined. KCR had plans for becoming PM. He was sidelined. Mamta has plans for becoming PM and Mamta is sidelined. One should be treated kindly by history, but don't make yourself slave of history for it.

Congress leadership should show some courage because there party workers are really frustrated...All regional parties wants congress dead because votebank of regional parties has is congress' votebank...but problem with Congress is that they will be happy if regional parties win despite congress loss...By this way Congress will loose its loyal votebank whatever they have very soon....

There is no opposition without Congress since congress is the largest party. Concerns of regional parties are understandable but regional parties cannot survive without congress leadership. AAP would have been wiped out by BJP by now if it wasn't for congress. BJD in Odisha is the best example. There is no neutral stance as long as BJP remains in power. INDIA alliance is a compulsion. No one is doing any favour to anyone. Congress is the single largest opposition party. State elections are bound to have different equations. It is good for democracy as long as BJP is not winning regional elections due to infighting. It should not have any impact on alliance at national level. If regional parties break alliance at national level then they are first parties that are going to be decimated.
