For my rubber stamps I have put them in a flat clear containers that are numbered and I have them stamped in a catalog that is off to the side of them so I can find the stamp I want. I got a lot of rubber stamps. I have converted over 1000 to cling mount. A friend of mine passed away and her daughter didn't want them so she thought of me instead of throwing them away.
@jessicakultti3 жыл бұрын
Dawnea, I converted half of my wood mounted stamps and hate it! I have a cabinet that my friends husband made for me that holds 11x17 acrylic frames on rails. I keep a lot of wood mounted stamps in there. It works great, but unfortunately I can’t find the frames anymore. The wood mounted stamps are really classics! I love them!
@MostlyPaperCrafts3 жыл бұрын
I don't think I'd be able to separate the stamps from their mounts... they are all like little works of art and I wish I could have a whole wall to display them all. So fun to look at:)

Oh my!!! When I saw your old green, red and black backed dies, you maid my heart skip!! I have many dies also from before. Before, for me, was a car accident. It took many years to heal and for me to find me again. I'm very different, but I am back crafting. To see your dies, it just made me very happy and I thank you so much for sharing!!!!

What a beautiful space!! I think it's always a work in progress. New products, new techniques, different interests, all impact what one uses most and therefore what one needs handiest. I think, however, that there are 2 different hobbies, collecting/organizing craft supplies and crafting.

Your space is truly a dream space! I envy the cord control and the out of sight charging at the ready when you need it. I despise the cords and it makes me crazy. There are so many tools that go unused or I won’t buy because it is inconvenient to pull them out, make room, use and put it away. When it can be out and just ready, they are used so much more. I know purging is r e a l l y hard, but as I reflect only a handful of things have I really regretted letting go. I’m sure you will have many hours of joy in your space. Thanks for the ideas for my dream space. 🤩

Congrats on A Beautiful Craft Room Girl! Looking for ideas in process of setting my own space. I’ve had mine craft supplies in the attic for over seven years due to having my parents move in and caring for my mother 24/7. My mom passed away five months ago so setting up her bedroom Also using her 70’s furniture that have sliding doors like barn doors for storage. Planning on painting them all white. Those bins in the last section of the room that visually you weren’t happy with, maybe you can pick up Quick Cover Contact Paper at Dollar Tree they have Beautiful colors ones even Black and White. Just cover the fronts of them. 🤩🤩🤩

Your space is beautiful and organized. When we moved, I got rid of a lot of the supplies I wasn’t using and so glad that I did because when I set up my new space, there is a lot of space to grow. After a year, I really don’t miss the supplies that I purged and still have a lot of room. It’s actually very freeing since more time is spent crafting and less time is spent organizing and cleaning.
@MostlyPaperCrafts3 жыл бұрын
I wish I would have learned that lesson earlier, but better now than later! I think I will do another round of purging in 6 months or so and give myself even more room/less clutter.

Hi Debbie! Thanks for the comment, and so sorry for the delayed response. My solution is using an app called Air Table. What pockets do you use for your stamps and dies? I love your craft room.

I may have missed it, but who are your upper cabinets by? I am looking at cabinets as we speak and wonder if its one of the ones I am researching....great to see them in use/progress and how things fit in them :) lovely room!!!

Hi Lisa! The cabinets are from Lowes. I had wanted IKEA cabinets (to match what I have in my kitchen), but they were all sold out and I did not want to wait.

Your craft room looks great. I’m redoing mine as we speak. But I do have one question for you. Where did you get your heat gun stand at. I would really like to get one. Thank you

I got mine at a local craft store; here’s the info for Amazon (I think I only paid $20 for mine). Good luck! It’s one of my favorite things in the craft room.
I have many many wood mounted rubber stamps too and had to laugh at your comment about not counting all the ones you gave away because I would be the same way. Did you sell the rubber stamps you got rid of or did you donate them? Your remodeled craft room looks like a dream. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Jeanne... so my dirty little secret is that I haven't gotten rid of them yet. The boxes are in my garage and I'm still trying to decide what to do. I think I may make sets of coordinating stamps this summer and see if I can sell some of them to recoup some of my spending for this project 😜
