I had to pause the video half way through, just to say that it's so evident that you have found your life's passion and your excitement for stamping is SO contagious! It's just after 11 PM, and I should be in bed asleep, but now all I want to do is go play in my stamping room!!

I keep my reinkers in a flat "tackle" box, too. I put a grid on the inside of the lid that shows me where each color is located in the box. I put a spot of each color on the gird with its name, which allows me to quickly find the ink that I am looking for. I am enjoying your videos so much! I have made several cards with the "embroidered" edge and it goes over great with recipients of those cards. Thanks!!!

It's nice to see other craft spaces, maybe pick out something that might be helpful to do in my space. BUT it's also nice to see that your craft space has the same box of markers and where ever the stamp box fits is where it goes. I love it! Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the REAL tour, I am encouraged by your saving retired things you like. Why should I totally discard it if I like it even if the company makes a different business decision. At some point I wished I had index cards, sharpie, and masking tape so I could label some of your drawers for you lol. I also am a demo. I find so many of us just want to share our passion. PERIOD! Taking the 30 or so minutes to watch was a Mother's day gift to myself. It was ONEderful!

I've become a "store display" junkie for organization. It's more affordable than you'd expect and so neat and sturdy. I started with grid wall for my beading supplies and closet, then got some slat wall for hanging pots in my kitchen. I've just installed pegboard in my craft room. Too bad I got the free standing paper holders from Display Dynamics from a scrapbook site before I found out they make slat wall/pegboard compatible trays.

So glad you shared your craft room ideas. Glad to see you are not perfect, yet you do know where your stuff is, and you create beautiful cards and things. Thanks for sharing your videos...and thanks for being inspirational to all of us. I am also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I live in Illinois. Where do you live? Some day I would love to meet you and see your inspiring cards in person. Maybe some day.

Hi Andrea, Congrats! Welcome to the Stampin Up family! Yes, you can order them through your demonstrator website. Typically I purchase mine at convention; however, I do know they are available through the SU Demo website. I'd start by going to where you order catalogs and supplies. Hope this helps. Brandy

Hi Brandy, LOVELY room!! I do a similar thing with my ribbons - however, I use quilting straight pin and pin the ribbon to itself in the roll - kind of like the tape typically used to hold the ribbon when you first purchase it. But the pin is easier to remove and replace to keep it from unraveling from the entire roll. Just my tip of the day :)

Brandy -- ooohh...hate the ribbon "roll" too!! I use the very small craft "straight pins"..just stick them into the bolt at the end of the ribbon to keep them from unrolling. They come in 100 or so in a small container - got mine at Michaels. Works great!

Love your room! It seems so bright and cheerful. Have you tried using a vinyl gutter from the hardware store to store your ribbon in? I have mine horizonally, but you could use it vertically in a corner so you could see your ribbon at a glance.

I know this is an old video and you have a different scrap room but if you have not found a good way to store rolls of ribbon, try gutters. I went through all the ways yoh mentioned then had my husband put up 2 long gutters. I layed swim noodles inside them from the dollar tree and LOVE them. You could cut the gutters and do maybe 4 rolls of a few feet long under each other. I have had it this way about a year and will stick with it.

As long as I have been crafting and using ribbon, about a week ago, I decided I was tired of my ribbon unraveling so I too bought some straight pins and VOILA!!! You should try it, of course it will slow you down a bit when you need some ribbon, but it drives me nuts for it to unravel, so it was worth it for me! Thanks for all your videos....you are quite an inspiration! I decided to become a demonstrator twice, and both times just didn't have the time to put into it to make it even break evenable (is that a word)?? One day, when I retire from teaching deaf children, I will do it!...oh and by the way, I was able to keep being a demonstrator for almost a year....why? because I bought so much stuff myself! LOL Stampin up is so addictive, I love it!!!!

Ribbon has always been a problem. When you put the ribbon rolls on the rod, change the position of every other roll. Another words, start a row with the first ribbon spool positioned on the rod with the ribbon coming off the spool at the top. Put the next spool on with the ribbon coming off from the bottom of the spool. Kind of a over then under movement. Repeat every other one until your rod is full. Start filling the next rod under the top rod by placing your first spool going in the opposite direction of the first spool on top row. I hope this makes since, it has helped me. I had 4 kids so I know how busy it gets. Don't worry too much, just have fun in the limited time to you have for yourself. Your craft area is perfect.

I'm not a SU demo, but for some reason I was under the impression that you could only use current product at classes. Classes I've been to never had any stamps, punches or other items that weren't available to be bought any longer. Also thought they really frowned upon use of anything in a class that was not sold by SU? Not true? Love your room. And love watching your videos. Fun personality & real. :D

Hi! Im a Newbie and I am just getting to grips with everything. I would like to know if you could tell me why some of the clear stamps are completely black. I thought the idea behind stampin was to either colour them in or glitter to them, but some of them are completely black. Is there a special reason for this. I have watched a few of your videos and found them very enlightening and very easy to understand. Your studio is well organised although you don't seem to think so. I look forward to seeing more of your videos in the future.
