I use metallic acrylic paint (pearl color) with rubbing alcohol for my glimmer spray. I fill a water brush with this mixture for a maker, and use the spray for larger areas and die cuts. Water can harbor a lot of bacteria, and the alcohol dries a lot faster. I’ve Ben using the same bottle of spray for over 10 years, and it’s still fine! The acrylic paint has a binder in it, so it doesn’t rub off. Just have to shake it before using.

Do you have a recipe for your mixture?

@@kimberlyanndesigns1 I don’t. I just added about 1/2 teaspoons of ordinary metallic acrylic paint to 4 ounces of rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. If you add to much it will clog the nozzle. I put a marble in to help it mix better. I’m sure the iridescent medium you are using would do the same thing. It probably has more mica in it. You just have to play with it. I have them in silver, copper, and gold as well. Buying the metallic craft paint is way cheaper. Alcohol won’t warp your paper or make your ink bleed. I have a small box thatI set my paper in to spray it. I let it dry then die cut it. Gives a beautiful shimmer without interfering too much with the color of the paper. Or just use it in a water marker. You will get a tiny bit of rub off, but if it bothers you just hit it with a sealer or some cheap hairspray.

Thanks for the video going to save $$$$$. Question, when I want to add color, just do the same mixture and then add alcohol and hairspray and my color to the original mixture?
