Good Morning Gayle & friends! I think guest checks are my favorites! Well, at least for today. 😂😂😂 I need to coffee dye some. Yours look so awesome. I’ve been playing with playing cards. Why is it so hard to decide how to decorate them? Or is it just me that wants to showcase both sides of the “pretty” ones?? A friend suggested putting very thin paper so you could see the “Ace” and the cute dog on the decorative side for example. (I have a friend with a dog named Ace that I made a journal for - see my dilemma??😂) Guess I just need to experiment. Hope everyone is having an awesome week. I just go to retreats my friend here in town hosts. She’s a quilter, but invites me anyway. 😂. Checking with local craft or fabric stores is one way to find them. Also, I think the magazine Somerset Studio lists retreats in the back of their issues sometimes. Hope that helps! ❤

So your nails were not a distraction. I'm not one for polishing my nails but I appreciate a nice manicure in others. Your nails are cute, especially knowing why you did them like that. We grandmas gotta represent! I do find some manicures distracting - and it's not any particular style unless they have bling on them and those are meant to be distracting. I just get so distracted when crafters do all that for videos. I wonder if I'm alone in that? I think I get distracted when it appears that the wearer is kind of flashing their expensive manicure around. And I guess that's fine but they should be clear in themselves on which is more important: are they wanting their demo to be the main focus or the flashy nails? 🙂 I know, I'm getting to be a cranky old lady. *sigh* So be it.

Thanks Cindy! My granddaughters were kind of tickled with Nana’s nails to represent! 😂. I don’t do expensive manicures. Guess I’m too cheap. I do mine myself when I find time to do them. I do appreciate having polish on though, because I’m an old lady and my nails peel…makes me cranky! 😂❤

@@gayleagostinelli_ct My other had that problem as she got older. She wore Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails, clear. Now me,I got my father's hard as nails all on their own. I keep them as short as possible because even a casual jab from these babies can hurt someone else. Jason used to complain all the time, "Cut your nails, Mom. Jeez!" and then he'd say, "I know, they're not long, they're hard!" It's a wonder kids survive childhood.
