Our approach to making junk/art journals is very different and so your channel has inspired me to try new things, and I'm grateful you share your work with us. I've never made a junk journal, but a journal to me means something you write in. I'd like to make one for my daughter who used to write in a (store bought) journal, but hasn't for some time. I think she needs to do it again. I'll try to adapt some of your ideas to make her one that she has lots of room to write, but still be something she recognizes as art from me. You do have some great ideas and I love to watch your videos.

I like coptic stitching for lying flat but you get a large spine and it's more time consuming. Oh I'm decorating a chunky journal so my desk is a complete tip🙈 and using my ironing board as another surface 😄. But it's ironing day so I'll need to tidy a little. Thanks for another great video, Joie! I always figured your entire craft room looked Iike your neat and tidy desk and I was so happy to see the reality was much closer to my own space. 😊 It's hard to keep it all contained--it seems to have a mind of its own! I love to see how you fold pages (sounds weird, but it's true) and make pockets and envelopes. Just listening to you is so calming. I'm so thankful for your videos! ❤
