Adore the randomness of these types of videos. Lots of pretties to play with and you made then even prettier. You are so fun! We've had heaps of sirens here lately - many large, uncontrolled fires, unfortunately. None close enough to affect my property, but one did cause a 2 hour detour for my hubby one evening. 😔 Currently there aren't any, which is a great relief. ❤ Belinda xxx

Ugh...I know that feeling when the sirens go by the house! And I hate it when M is out running errands! We're in a quiet neighborhood, but right off very major intersection in town, so I hear a lot of sirens. I always stop to say a little prayer too. A little skwench to you from me for your twinge of fear/sadness that it brought on. At least you don't have to worry about fires with all that snow on the ground! Wouldn't it be cool to restrict yourself to ONLY using what's in your to-do boxes until it's all gone! I wonder if a year would even do it! It would get boring really quickly, I'm sure. 😄❤❤❤

I really liked the tag where you used the transfer paper for embroidery. I have some of those but never know how to use them. Got lots of ideas from your box! I hope everyone is ok. Hi & Hugs Gayle and friends! The struggle is real to keep track of where I got my digitals. For me, it’s mostly so I can go print more! I am really on board with 2024 being the year of unhoarding!! A friend in Oregon told me about “buy nothing” groups on facebook. Love love love sharing with my community. Hi Gayle, you put me on a hunt today looking for the long checks with the pink flowers until I realized that you had put the flowers on Rachel and Bella.’s checks. I know that I have those flowers! Hurray, mystery solved. I love when you prayed after hearing the ambulance because I was taught to do that in my catechism classes. The ambulance has come to my neighbor’s house several times and I just stand in my window and pray that he will be well. It is scary for sure.

What a different world you and I live in. I hear sirens on average of 6 times a day at least. I feel for you for sure. God bless those who are involved. I live in the city of Seattle and about a block from the fire department. It is an almost constant occurrence. So glad you were able to get some things out of your to-do box. That has to feel good. I know I feel accomplished when I can create things with stuff I already have.

I’m the same way as you when it comes to sirens, my heart sinks and I’m always silently praying that whoever needs it will be ok. Many years ago, when we lived in Scotland, an ambulance was zipping through our area, sirens blaring. It turned out to be for my little boy’s best friend, who had fallen off her horse. She received severe head trauma and was never the same after that. Very upsetting for all involved, including her classmates. My son was 9 at the time, and was so good with her afterwards, getting down on the floor and crawling right along with her when they played. It was like he spoke her language, seemingly not even noticing her disability or lack of speech, and her face would light up when she saw him. The 2 were very close.

What I do with some things that I put in baggies and I want to know the name like you do but instead of putting it in the baggie where it’s gonna get lost, I just tape it to the front of the baggie. That way it’s easy enough to take it off and reuse the baggie but you don’t lose it?

I notice that sometimes u have it stored in the little plastic boxes, sometimes in a book and sometimes it's still in its original packaging. How do you decide between the different ways to store or file things? Would love to hear your insight...i am still searching for the best way to do mine! As always, love and hugs to u!

Great question, Kelly! The baggies of ephemera are leftovers from journals, so I keep them in the baggie with the name of the digital maker, so I can acknowledge them. Then I stack the baggies in a bin to know that they are all from prior journals. The little colored boxes with lids are for “most used” ephemera. I have them labeled with either digital maker or with subject, like Flowers or Birds. When I was doing Etsy Shares, several folks sent me ephemera books and I’ve used them for certain digital makers too. Seems like storage is constantly evolving as I go! 😂❤
