How to Make The Classic Granny Stripe Cardigan, Full Length Crochet Tutorial, Crochet Cardigan,

Hey everyone and welcome to The Classic Granny Stripe Cardigan! This is a super mindless crochet project. It is mainly worked up in one piece with very minimal seaming! It’s made to measure so you can use any yarn and any hook. I have based the yarn yardage on aran acrylic yarn (category #4) and a 6mm hook, but you can use any ply of yarn that you wish. I look forward to seeing everyone’s versions of The Classic Granny Stripe Cardigan!
This tutorial is in US terms and perfect for an Adventurous Beginner.
I have made this tutorial slightly different to my usual style. All measurements are now in the video and will appear as and when you need them for a particular section. This saves you having to pause the video, come off of it and access the written description. It's much more user friendly this way!

@@jemmadurham4689 I would personally suggest to go medium but you can also mix and match the measurements eg. When you get the making the panels you could make them the same length as a size small so you don't end up with a bigger armhole and baggier sleeve ❤️

Does the paid pattern give an approximation stitch count for each size? I am doing the medium but ended up with 206 which id way more than you so presumably too many - not sure what i’m aiming for 😅

@janismelia9695 hi no It doesn't I'm afraid as it's a made to measure pattern where the user can use any ply of yarn and any hook size, so technically you could make a super loose one with 4ply and an 8mm hook for summer etc! As long as you work to the measurements then it should come out absolutely fine 👍🏼
