Hi I am making mine longer too. Can you tell me how many rows or shells you made yours? Is it multiples of 8 to make it longer? I am at 60 shells do I make 4 more rows to make it 64? what about the +2? I would really appreciate your help because I already took the border apart because the puff stitches didn't line up right. Beautiful blanket. But instead in row 3 when working the front post double crochet and elongating the yarn, you could put a treble crochet or double treble crochet. That way the yarn isn't so loose on those stitches.
