What an amazing video! Your editing, cinematography and the craft itself is such a gem. I personally use bondo spice to season my lungs, but I understand that’s not to everyone’s taste. He turned out so smooth and adorable, for some reason him being so large just makes my heart happy.

Wondering about the individual pieces. Are they hollow or solid, or do they have some kind of supporting pattern inside?
@itsmattcho Жыл бұрын
There's some support inside- known as infill. For the head I used lightning infill, which is closer to hollow. The body/arms/legs have a cubic infill pattern
@KTannerPaisleyKK9 ай бұрын
@@itsmattchoAre you kidding me? You can sell these as extremely rare for like $600 dollars each

Love this! what is the weight when complete? how much Filament did you need for this before I try it
@itsmattcho Жыл бұрын
I used about 3kg of filament, so that's the approx weight
@tgriffin91 Жыл бұрын
Can you advise what infill percentages % you used when printing this? I just bought your STL and my first slice said 7 days to print! :') Thanks!
@itsmattcho Жыл бұрын
I printed it on an Ender 3, 0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height. For all the parts besides the head, I printed with default Cura settings @ 15% cubic infill. For the head, I used lightning infill (found in Cura) w/ 3 wall lines. Definitely takes a while to print so gotta be patient

so sick dude!! Love seeing the process. Is bando a clay like substance? I’m curious about what it does to make the 3D print less gritty
@itsmattcho Жыл бұрын
Bondo is closer to a putty substance. Because 3D printing works by building layer by layer, we get layer lines as an artifact. So Bondo is used to fill in the small gaps produced by layer lines.
