i enjoyed this a lot. thank you for sharing! about the algorithm: i usually dive down a different rabbit hole every few months. when i'm in one, youtube suggests fitting videos, so i gotta admit i don't search too often. but whenever i'm in the process of changing rabbit holes i use the search a lot, and i totally agree that it doesn't matter how old the videos are, because there's stuff to learn either way. but like you said, yt is mostly entertainment nowadays, and for that the "newer is better" algorithm makes sense, to keep up with people. i'm glad this 3 week old video was new enough to be fed to me, gotta subscribe :D

Thank you for your comment and for sharing your thoughts! I'm glad that you found my videos through recommendations. I'm very thankful for the Finale of this series to end with such a good reception on KZbin. To clarify, I wasn't necessarily blaming KZbin algorithms, but rather acknowledging that they can be hit or miss in terms of promoting content. Nevertheless, I'm grateful for the viewers that have found and enjoyed my videos, regardless of how they discovered them. Thanks for watching!

Congrats on your milestone! Your dungeon is fantastic. I hope you get to play it occasionally! I found your channel some time ago, I think you were a couple episodes in. I found it through Wyloch, probably. Or maybe the Bards Craft. Not his channel specifically but through side lists on his videos. I’ve found a lot of terrain people that way, and through looking up commenters to see if they have public channel lists or playlists. It can be hard to find obscure channels. I don’t use the KZbin search feature to find new channels or the recs from the home page but mostly from the video lists on the right or six videos in. I was glad to find your instagram some time ago, I have a couple art accounts there, very obscure. Anyway enjoy your work greatly and hope to build some stuff on my own soon. Probably more oriented towards set pieces I can position and use/reuse on a round ultimate terrain pizza, ala Dungeon Craft. It’s a space issue.

Thanks for your kind words and support, Thaliahelene! It's great to hear that you found my channel through other terrain creators like Wyloch and Bards Craft. I definitely agree that finding smaller channels can be a challenge, but it's always rewarding when you do come across someone doing great work. Best of luck with your own terrain building projects, and feel free to share them with me on Instagram!

What I learnt from this is that I'm perfectly capable of making and selling my own terrain as I considered this kind of quality fairly easy to reach, and I think I can do more detail

That's a great takeaway, Brave Little Pixel! It's always inspiring to see others' work and feel empowered to create something equally as impressive or even better. I'm glad that you feel confident in your skills and abilities to create high-quality terrain and I wish you all the best in your future crafting endeavors!

Dude!! you made A Lot of awesome stuff! I got into crafting/DnD 8 months ago. Couple people said i shoulda filmed everything from the start to see my progression through the years. i still havent. My works not bad but definitely not great. Good enough to sell/do commissions but i havent made the jump yet

I personally love watching channels that show their progress as they learn and grow. It's never too late to start filming and sharing your progress! It can be a great way to motivate yourself and also inspire others who are just starting out on their crafting/DnD journey.

@ArtJeremiah the only thing keeping me from a build like this is - how long does your party stay in a dungeon like this/ how many uses will you get out of a build? I am fairly new to ttrpg.
@ArtJeremiah
@ArtJeremiah Жыл бұрын
@Toxic BangBang it was more of a fun side project. I'm sure it would have gone a lot faster if it were my only side project. As for the party thing, it could only work as s one shot dungeon crawl.
