It feels so refreshing watching you hobbying the "old school" way, winging it. This feels very 90's, the way you tackle things. It is so great. I was born in 1990 and got into the hobby in 1998 so this is very nostalgic to me. Thanks!

One alternative way to do floor tiles on those ruins would be to employ those paper sheets with designs printed on them, that hobby stores sell. The ones most likely intended for scrap-booking. There's tons of designs out there, including checkerboard ones that would make for good tiles. Just craft and basecoat your ruins as normal, then glue the paper down on the inside section (artfully torn or cut out to fit the space and form the broken edges). Maybe seal the paper with some PVA glue or similar, then weather it however you please to bring it in line with the rest of the board.

I have to say that when I was younger I didn’t realize how nice the graphic was on these paper ruins. The solid black shadows especially. They all look really comic-like or match the rule books artworks nicely. Very cool to see them one more time. Also - nice work! I like your style, mate. My inner child is crying tears of joy as I’m realizing I actually prefer the way 2nd ed. looks over current gen. I also understand now why all the perfect and expensive plastic terrain never gave me joy. I have to make my own rough but full of heart props.

Love the video. Scratch building terrain is my favourite part of the hobby. But there's always a backlog of grey plastic to paint, and I have a sufficient quantity of terrain to battle over, so it always ends up at the bottom of the priority list. But maybe after the current model I'm painting...

If it's your hobby and you enjoy it, it keeps you off of the street and is relatively inexpensive(not to mention you literally film everything for KZbin so need stuff to do that with) there is no reason for someone to control your actions ....as long as you're keeping within a budget you can handle ..your life is not purely about hers ..if hers is not purely about yours 👍 grow some balls
