One is for making flat bottom and one for making round bottom if you know what i mean. If you need some more info, you just write. Happy holidays

This is not turning, it's just scrapping wood, but it's funny and a good start for rookies. You HAVE to cut the wood, not scrape it, use every tool with the right angle forward and backwards, change direction of turning, when needed, and pay attention of hook - then you'll be sanding almost nothing. The cuts are clean and polished. As to impregnation, apply bees wax, mixed with medical terpertyne with a wool cloth at high speed - this is the best and the most natural insulation for wood & food products. I haven't watched your channel, and don't want to sound rude, excuse me if so! Just had to give my way of seeing and understanding how to turn wood. Congrats for sharing this art, and remember - we can always get better!

Thanks for watching. The spray is water or denatured alcohol that raises the grain in the wood. If you do that and then sand it again, the finish will be smoother when the goblets are used.
