This is a great family heirloom! I have recipe cards handwritten by my grandma, and I just love having them around my kitchen. I've never seen a Cricut in action, so this was fun.

Gen, I love the idea of making a cookbook. You could even make extra copies for gifting to Claire and other children in the future. You can also make some for family members as gifts. You can also make copies of the original recipes and put the copies in the books so you and other family members can have their own copy of the handwriting of family members. I have a Cricut like yours and a Cricut Joy. I just got a Cricut press for Christmas from my husband and have made a sweatshirt. You inspired me to be more creative. I’m blessed with an entire room to sew and craft.

Creative idea. Really like the concept of this. I have recipes that my grandmother hand wrote and the paper is getting so fragile as the years pass. Think I’m going to use yours as a guide to get her recipes saved before I can no longer read these fragile yellowing papers. Thanks!

I have made a receipe cookbook also. I love it. Mine have gotten so big that I have got 3 of the xtra large notebooks full. I need to go thru them and reduce since most of them are not "family" receipes Thanks for sharing!
