Craftsman 2-Cycle 42cc 14" Gas Chainsaw (Very Awesome)

Hey Everyone, Aaron Here. Today I will be showing you Guys the Craftsman 2-Cycle, 42cc 14" Gas Chainsaw from Lowe's that costs about $119.00. Also PLEASE Expand the Description because there will be links on where to buy some of the items shown in the video. This Chainsaw is 2-Cycle meaning it needs Gas and Oil Mix and Bar and Chain Oil to run. The Motor is 42cc. The Bar is 14 inches. I recommend Husqvarna Oil Mix and Dollar General SAE 30 Bar and Chain Oil, but It doesn't matter as long as it is SAE 30. I showed cutting wood with the Chainsaw, but I won't Spoil that for guys!! Nice Review. I have some small trees I need to clear, so I found this chainsaw on lowes, I didn't want to buy husq because they are way too much money for me. I'm going to buy this chainsaw today thanks to your review!

No problem, husqvarna is a lot of money, I got the craftsman chainsaw to not dull my husqvarna bar and chain.

Depends on What Size of Tree. I actually Bought Another 18 Inch. A Craftsman 18 inch. It's About $200 It Comes With A Case and A Extra Chain. If it is Small Trees, Them I recommend The Craftsman 14 Inch. Best 14 Inch I Have Owned. Definitely Recommend It.

Thanks for stressing to others not to let ur chain contact the ground. Great advise as i have seen a few awful injuries caused by binding and debris. I have the same saw as i am on a budget with 4 kids and i will say for the cost this is a great cheap option for anyone wanting a decent saw with enough power to cut honey locus n other hardwoods for firewood. I have had mine a yr and taken down a few dozen trees with it. Keep a sharp chain on her keep her oiled and it jus goes n goes. Not the best but very very serviceable for cheap.

No Problem. Contact With The Ground Can Cause Injury and Dulls your Chain Up. I Like The 14" but I Did Purchase The 18" Craftsman. Bit Bigger For What I Use it For. Definitely Agree, It is Cheap Good Saw. Great Quality, Powerful Too. Stay Safe and I Hope To See You Soon.

Fuel should be 50 to 1 ratio? Very important. Not enough oil will burn too hot. Too much will smoke and clog up eventually. Good job tho 👍

I put a 2.6 oz bottle of Oil Mix in the Gas, I think. I can't remember now.

That's What I used. I had a Bottle on Hand because I have a Husqvarna Chainsaw. Yes it will be fine as Long as it is 40:1 Ratio. Stay Safe and I hope to see you soon.

White Ash. Also, This Saw Is Still Running! I Wanna Tell You That I Recently Switched To 90 Non-Ethanol Gas For My Gas-Oil Mix. Has Been Performing A 1,000 Times Better Than 87! I Also Have The 18 Inch Now!

I'm going to have to agree. Stihl Chainsaws are twice as much. I have used Stihl and to me there ain't much of a difference. If it gets the job done, It's good enough for me.
