This thing is a BEAST I have one and coupled with a 9ah battery it hasn't been beaten by any bolt I've thrown at it so far.

I was on the fence when I first pulled it out of the box but now that I've seen how easily it broke loose those decades old tractor nuts I'm sold. I'll be keeping it. I had the older brushed 350lb model before and I'm pretty sure this one on setting 2 has more torque than it did. Consider subscribing if you haven't yet I have lots more videos coming soon. Thanks for watching.

@@jimmyjamessac7171 when Stanley Black & Decker bought craftsman from Sears then released this V20 lineup I heard they were basically "Dewalt in red" and the price made it more compelling. And while not all of it is great, "little craftsman rotary tool didn't impress me" all around it's been great and I'm glad I finally gave up on my corded Porter Cable stuff after so many years. These are my first venture into cordless tools. "late to the game I know lol" but for the price they have been great. I've even seen some videos of them tearing down these and Dewalts and they had a lot of the same guts inside.

I got one used only a few months after it came out. Weirdly, it came with an upgraded 5Ah battery and a slightly different charger. No bag. As a rebadged DeWALT DCF899, it’s a real-deal high-torque impact. I swapped some parts to repair my DCF899 and later got the parts I needed to restore the CMCF940. Didn’t need two of essentially the exact same tool on two different battery lines so I gave it to a friend and he absolutely loves it! One of the first things he did was use it on a 40 year old Honda ATV with a stuck axel bolt and ended up breaking the bolt! Obviously not the tool’s fault but it goes to show that this thing has power to spare!

I had the older Craftsman brushed model before and while it was plenty capable it doesn't compare to these newer high torque beasts. I think the adjustable power switch is my favorite feature. I have a 1982 Honda ATC restoration video using it coming soon and it's never been touched either so I expect some of the bolts to be quite stubborn but I'm sure this impact will handle it without any problem. Consider subscribing if you haven't yet and thanks for watching.

@@emmettturner9452 It's not released yet I'm still working on it. I'm very excited it's the 3 wheeler I've had since I was a kid. Atc 200, pull rope start. Nothing fancy in that regard but a lot of sentimental value for me. I have a few others too including a 110 I might rebuild for my nephew.

This tractor belonged to my neighbor and sat in his barn for decades. After he died his son brought it over to my farm. It's been outside for about 10 years now and hasn't been touched. I'd say the impact is quite capable and will perform well with most tasks. This is my first model with a switch to change speed and torque. I like it more than I thought I would but only time tell if it will hold up to the hell I'll be putting it through here on the farm. Thanks for watching.

my cowokers constantly diss me for having one of these. i'm a lube technician at my local dealership and it has had absolutely ZERO problems with lugnuts. they say "its struggling" i take it to any lugnut in the shop and it gets it off in no time flat. it matches my buddies milwaukee impact and safe to say i spent $150 on it bought it slighlty used off another buddy and its a great buy imo

Mine has been great. My brother liked it so much he bought one as well. I need tools good enough to do things around the farm and these Craftsman tools seem to be plenty good for that. Never understood the amount of flexing that comes from the Milwaukee owners. "It's better"... "Yea? ... For twice the price I wouldn't expect it to be worse." My other craftsman tools are holding up just fine as well.

It seems very capable. I don't know what the tractor nuts were torqued at but I'd say if it can do them it can do about anything within reason and is a worthy upgrade from my old brushed model.

@@jimmyjamessac7171 I had the brushed model 350 ft lbs. It was actually great but it was stolen from me. They raised the price on them to $140 for the tool only. For $40 more I get a brushless high torque, 4.0ah battery and a charger. So far I'm happy with it. Thanks for watching.

It's been great so far but we'll see how she takes the hell I'm going to put it through here on the farm. Seems like she'll hold up just fine. I'm really liking the 3 position switch. Never had one like this before and each mode is useful for different things. 1 is good for threading it down, 2 is good for final torquing it down and busting some loose. 3 is for just busting loose.

Does it come with socket?
@StocksFarm9 ай бұрын
It does not unfortunately. I used an old set of 1/2 inch impact sockets I already own. Although a set of deep well impact sockets are reasonably cheap. It does come with a fast charger and a 4.0mah battery. Which is great considering it's specs and price. Thanks for watching.
