The plastic drill body on this resembles some of the modern Makita corded drills. I wonder if there is a connection.

Hi, Another great vid. What I like about the drill body is the curved indentation around back. To get web of hand right over the drill axis. Makes perpendicular drilling more accurate. Keep up the good work! Alistair

Is that Prussian Blue? AvE used it way back on a Fein power tool.

So it is not an impact drill correct? My elderly dad just got one same model, and that is his question.

Did you ever find a work-around for the proprietary cord issue? I am trying to repair my father's old Craftsman ⅜" drive with a cut-in-half power cord.

My late father gave me the same drill like 32 years ago he also had a black & decker professional drill looked like this one except for the trigger being a regular trigger but you are correct it does look like a Milwaukee in some ways there's two companies I'm leaning toward who could have made this either Black & Decker

I wonder why it has a knurled chuck when it is a keyed chuck. To make it look nice?
@DKNguyen3.14155 ай бұрын
Maybe use it as a keyless chuck for smaller drills or hex shanks?

That looks like a nice tool. The last 3/8" corded drill I used was from HF and it caught on fire. Not a fan.
