I bought this snowblower for 50 bucks. I was told the fuel line fell off and they did not want to take it apart and fix it again. Did I get scammed or was I lucky? #snowblower #craftsman #engine

Thanks Chris. I am worried when my luck runs out how bad the carb will be. HAHA

You make it seem super simple to fix these things

If I can do it you can too. Its not really that difficult once you understand the concept of how these engines work. Thanks for the comment.

There is a belt under the plastic covers. I think it is on the machines left side.

It does work and a couple yrs ago when I was still disabled it started right up after sitting for yrs.no such luck now though,fuel in the carb and finally dry rotted the fuel line so I ordered a carb kit but haven’t gotten to it yet.after being down a long time I’m way behind but I know it runs and has new oil so soon as I get to it all I’ll need is snow but I’m not dumb enough to pray for it!

Silly question i recently got a pretty beat up one like this and need to get replacement wheels, do you know what size are the wheels? Also how do you change the oil?
@5beesgarage2 жыл бұрын
II am not sure of the wheels size but if you take the Craftsman model number and google it you should be able to find a parts diagram with the part number of the wheels listed. This unit is a 4 cycle and requires the lower rear cover be removed to change the oil. If yours is a 2 cycle it uses oil/gas mix.

Hello, did you use plastic tubing for fuel line? Just trying to learn... I didn't see fuel lines in HD, maybe I can use plastic tubing?
@5beesgarage2 жыл бұрын
When it comes to fuel lines make sure they are rated for fuel. regular tubing may dissolve or deteriorate and cause leaks or worse.

is there a video on changing or cleaning the carbruetor
@5beesgarage Жыл бұрын
I do not have a video of cleaning that particular carb. Some of my other videos feature carb cleanings. Most are very similar.

Can you drain the oil out of the engine or pour it out the fill tube?
@5beesgarage2 жыл бұрын
Barry, I am not sure as I have not changed the oil. I plan on doing that soon as the snow season is coming.

I hope you didn't pay much for that. Looks like it's been rode hard and put away wet.

@@5beesgarage I picked up a 21" 212cc powersmart on black Friday for $200 so I was looking at single stage blowers to get an idea what to expect. I had been watching for a used 2 stroke to fix up but no luck.
