Craftsman Snow Blower Auger Repair

The rubber blade on the snow blowers auger has come loose and is hitting the metal making a loud bang and is shacking like crazy. Lets get the tools out and see if we can fix the problem before the snow and ice show up.

I cannot stress the importance of having a working generator in the winter enough. We went almost a whole week without power a few years ago, and it was a very rough week being isolated without easy access to new foods and the inability to charge up batteries for equipment. Since the snow was so bad the roads were unusable for about half that week, unless we walked miles we could not get to a store. After this experience I made sure to pick up a generator and maintain it during winter. Never know if it could happen again, let alone if it could last longer.

your snow blower says its craftsman but It was made by snapper if you can't find parts

I lived near Seattle my whole life.... don't think i have ever even touched a snow blower before. We just give it time and snow goes away by itself

Might want to hit the nuts and bolts with some paint or swap them out for stainless or galvanized. Good solution, though and fun to watch.

I have the same one and I can’t figure out why it’s banging in the cement?? My driveway is not level one bit... how should I hold the machine when using it?? I bought it used and never got to use it because we never got snow.... till now
