You can get this product from the link below! suigenkyo.store/search?q=noh+mask&_pos=1&_psq=noh&_ss=e&_v=1.0 10% off coupon "SUIGENKYO10" Product information These custom-made Noh masks are made to order. They are very different from real women's faces, and this mask represents all the emotions in a Noh play, such as joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure. We have commercialized these Noh masks, which are used only in Noh plays, with the hope of bringing them to people all over the world. All you lovers of ghost and monsters, why not display them in your rooms?
... My family cared for some masks for a time before the place they were kept safe was stolen. There was an old man, a young man, and an androgynous. I still cant look to too many masks because of what was lost. And so at least there are the words of my father of "well, wherever it is, it's safe." Thank you for the post, absolutely beautiful and gorgeous.

In my humble opinion the work itself and the fine art behind doing Japanese masks doesn’t require to lure viewers inside with superlative titles: it does the opposite effect and a disservice to the artisan and the production of such fine artworks. Just my two bits worth on the topic. That said Click bait aside the work of this craftsman is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing the process of making it

Japanese Noh masks have depth in their facial expressions. There are various facial expressions such as a smile, anger, and serenity. When a person puts on a Noh mask and dances, the facial expression produces a wonderful effect. In the process of making Noh masks, it seems that life is born from trees.

Absolument magnifique !!!

With all due respect, but i have seen lots of videos of Noh mask artisans and it doesn’t take more than a week to make the mask, paint included, paulownia o cypress wood are used and they are very soft, also they use templates, which makes the process way easier. This is a beautiful vídeo and doesn’t need that type of title to attract viewers.

It cannot be done in a week. Although not shown in this video, there is a drying process in between each step. Therefore, various conditions such as climate and humidity must be met.

This is absolutely stunning, and the end result is so captivating! I have some questions about the process: 1) Is there some sort of glaze or coating put on the mask when it's done? The finished product has a shine that the matte paint doesn't have, especially on the teeth and lips. 2) I can fully believe it takes months of work to complete a mask like this. But with the way the video is edited, it looks like a shorter process. Why does it take so long, and what parts are we not seeing? Thank you so much!
@Craftsmanship-Process Жыл бұрын
It is coated with glue. In addition, the luster is naturally produced by human touch with hand grease. The entire process is also shown in the video. Each step is made until Mr. Terai is satisfied with the result.
