My grandfather had an axe once owned by Abraham Lincoln. The handle had been replaced a couple times and the blade once or twice but other then that it was all original.

That handle has the grain running in the wrong direction. Art? Maybe. Definitely not a tool.

@@nospam3409 I saw the one piece, for sure, that had the grain running in the wrong direction, but it’s laminated and I saw most were running lengthwise so it could be slightly weaker, but I think it’ll be ok.

​@@HowToRestorationIt can be hung on the wall, or put on a shelf, but it is categorically unsuitable for work. A carpenter's work axe is not an easy tool. The idea of a pen consisting of layers is dangerous! - During operation, it may collapse, which will lead to injury.

Полностью согласен. Но не очень понятно как расположены волокна этой сборной солянки. Если вдоль лезвия топора то ему место на стенке. А если поперёк то вполне может быть. Только непонятно зачем так зализал пятку топорища.
