Cool deal. My daughter is pretty good at making them but uses the clip you showed. I want her to see your vid start to finish so she can knock a couple out for me!

OK, here's the most Los Angeles Prepper thing I've ever said: Since we had rain the last week it was safe to make a fire in the fireplace of my apartment. So I took out my Bear Grylls survival knife and batoned the wood (that came with my apartment) on the balcony. My daughter and I used the firestarter necklace I won from your KZbin giveaway contests, and some cotton balls with neosporin ointment on them to get it started. It was a Christmas miracle that I got it going, but in the end, my family had a fun time doing it, thanks to you! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!

@@jerdog333 That's awesome haha! Glad you were able to use it, and pull off a fire with it on Christmas day with your family especially! Good stuff man, and as always thanks for your support 👍👍

The green one is the one I have that I was referring too! It’s just overly bulky and the size is pretty wide. Good shit on yours man seriously!

I was skeptical at first as I usually like a giant Ferro rod but that put of some serious sparks!
@Crafty.Veteran.Survival2 жыл бұрын
Haha thanks Clint! Yeah I definitely prefer a giant ferro rod over any smaller ones too, I like this thing mainly as a backup/emergency firestarter, and yeah this 1 inch ferro-rod+that ceramic striker do work surprisingly well together!

Haha yea I like to make paracord necklaces and bracelets. The necklaces are definitely simpler, and I like them a lot too!
