Don't get a crafty plus seriously it is an arsenal to clean and all that resin is lost through the channels of airflow. The heat is not stable and the flavour goes burnt after first drag . Heat up time is near 2 minutes not what they specify the capsules is the only thing this vape has goin for it and they replace roling culture a bit but my op Lound fenix mini beats this every time 2 second heat up time tastes better never burns it. Consumer pride rules the world at the moment I was a market researcher 20 years ago for early mobiles and these shills are contacted and paid for their shilling selling you stuff they are paid to do it. Not packaging o rings is not the the flaw! Go look up the Google app for this cape you get you get idea how good it is scum and bickel . His vape has melted on the casing as the materials are cheap plastic the flavour tastes like an overheating pc in the90s I'm running mine at 350 and it still, burns and hurts chest after one drag. A 90 pound pure convection vape works better just lacks the capsules

Not rusty at all, Bud. Excellent review and showcase. S&B are still arguably the best company in the world when it comes to dry herb thermal extraction devices. Everything from their craftsmanship, innovative designs and even company hardware standards is on another level. I've owned a Mighty for years and it'll always be in the top 5 of best portables ever made so I know the Crafty is just as on point. I am curious of what you would have in your top 5 list in 2023. A lot of products have come and gone so any chance you might do a top 5 video in the future? So glad to see you back, Bud! Stay up!

Very nice video man. I use the mighty but think of buying the crafty. Re cleaning: I always put the cooling unit in food grade alcohol (the 96% stuff) to clean. After a couple of cleaning runs I put this alcohol into the collected AVB (both freezer temp) and let it sit in the freezer for a while. After filtering you have a very nice tincture that can be used for everything (can even let the alcohol evaporate and have something like RSO).

To clean my mighty and crafty, I put in a mason jar with alcohol. Then I put that jar into a pot with enough water and heat that up. I let it do a slow boil for like 5 minutes, and it comes out spotless every time. To me, this is the easiest way.

Bud, thank you for the video. I’ve had my crafty plus since December ‘21 and I think it’s great. I’ve read some stuff about the ceramic coating in oven being an issue health/safety wise, maybe due to scratching and chipping? I don’t think mine is scratched or chipped in any way, but I had to ask because you’ve had experience w both crafty versions. Sorry for the potentially ridiculous comment, lol! Thanks

Brother I been looking for reviews on new vapes and I couldn't find you... good to see you again. I dislike all the other stoners who ramble for hours and explain nothing. I had the original crafty, it lasted me a good 4 - 5 years of use then finally died. Near the end of its life a full charge would only last 1 session and lost the ID for the app to change the temps so I was stuck with the basic temps near the end of its life but the grinder is still as sharp as day one out did all my metal and other grinders. Contemplating to get either the original mighty for extra battery and temps on hand or crafty + the USB-C is a neat update... Mighty+/Tinymight 2 look good but seem too expensive for me currently.

Hello my friend, again, great to ear from you after your hiatus. Regarding the OG, which i own, after new thermal fuse, battery and body is still running, of course is not my daily driver but since i update the thermal fuse specs i didnt get the annoying red & yellow error lights.... if this helps, instead of using the native fuse of 184C 250V 10A i replaced for this 192c 250C 10A. Still have the OG Mighty tank but TM is the daily driver...on demand suits me better... I can be active lol Cheers Bud

Have you ever tried the stainless steel cooling unit v2 for either the crafty or mighty? The vapor runs hotter which is nice and the taste is noticably better than the plastic cooling unit. Expensive but well worth it to make the mighty/crafty even better

I remember buying a crafty as soon as it came out and using it until the cord frayed and it stopped working, got a new one and it never worked the same as the original. I wonder if they updated the heater like this did here in the crafty plus or i just got lucky with my og plenty. Ps do you still have the foxbody? Sold mine :(

Using the Crafty + with the dosing capsules and through a small glass piece basically means i havent had to clean it at all in 300+ hours. Most I've done was brush a few crumbs of bud from the chamber. Anyway, glad to see you've changed your mind on the crafty+ ;)

@@xAndrewWolf storz & bickel also sells these small metal capsules u cn put your herb in makes it alot more convenient...i would say buy some of those...not too many as theyre reusable. And i would also recommend a glass adapter and maybe a small glass piece

Seems i can't find anywhere someone talking about Hash vaping with this. Has anyone tried this with hash? And with "hash" i mean both dry (when you press it a bit becomes basically kief) and bubble (sticky one, a bit wet). Still got a Plenty ?..... 3mm balls fit into the heater unit but most people dont want to removed the thick heater screen..... they rip tho you need to drop around 80 x 3mm balls down the heater holes..... s&b been making good stuff a long time !!!!!

Don't know what herbs you guys are vaping - but it must be weird stuff if you actually consider the 'Crafty +' in any way superior to a lot of vapes that cost only half the price - or even a third! I owned and still own more than a handful other vaporizers for about 10 years now, among them a 'Fenix', a 'Flowermate' and a 'Smono', which not only are much easier to handle and clean, but above that even have longer battery life, reach their temperatures faster, have a higher max temperature than the Crafty - which is limited to 210 degrees celsius for no apparent reason - and don't get as hot in the hand as the Crafty (which obviously means that the later wastes much valuable energy). But there is more: to compensate for the missing display (most annoying fact in this price range) have to use an app which forces you to not only activate bluetooth, but the GPS of your phone also! And did I mention, that the status LEDs rapidly flicker (even while loading the battery) and are so bright, that using this device confidentially somewhere out in the dark is next to impossible. And most of all: when I consume the exact same herb with the Crafty and the other vapes I can't see or feel or taste any significant difference in the amount or quality of the steam they produce. Bottom line: NO, not everything that is MUCH more expensive automatically is better. The price tag of the Crafty is utterly disproportionate!
