I wish I could have something that small and portable to run the home! Unfortunately I require an instant whole home 250amp supply so my "little" box weighs 1,225kg, cranks out 48kW and lives in it's own bespoke building at the rear of our garages. I can't hear it running and we never know even if the mains is offline or not. Amazing technology! Cost in 2010? US$67,800,00 incl the required separate enclosure it needs to run in. Crikey is what I said when I got the bill! Hahaha ;-))

Newbie question, can you safely get a full charge from a motorcycle battery via the 12V input without worrying about it going flat? (0-100%, even though I believe it's better not to drop below 20% to prolong battery health.) Just seems a big ask to me somehow - maybe best to do a couple hours at a time over several rides? And would that take around 7 hours in total as you mentioned?

Hi Andrew yes that could be possible but you would have to do it over several charges I would say ...the power station is much bigger capacity than a motorcycle battery Best wishes mark

Jackery 1000watt is about 1k, as are most others, this is cheap.

To work out the real value divide the watt hours by the price. In this case it is about 1Wh for $1 which is a fair price. The batteries I use at work for Stihl professional tools are more expensive per Wh and that is just a battery with no other functions.
