@@DispersedCamperMan I also love Lance. I just had an opportunity to buy this Arctic Fox for a half decent price, and I jumped on it. One thing I really appreciate about your channel is how you leave the exact coordinates, so people can find where you camp. I'm glad I found your channel. i find it interesting that these types of videos always show hardly anyone at the places these people show but my experience is when i go i have a hard time finding a camp site where someone is not within 50 feet of you racing their side by sides around and sometimes waking up and find im surrounded by campers that came in late and i can barely get out in my motor home

Great video. I have not been there in all my travels out west. Maybe I'll make it out this coming winter. Myself, I am such an introvert. I am sort of like you with wanting to be way off all by myself. Not that I dislike people but I just love peace and quiet and Mother Nature. I've been staying home in the mountains of Tennessee this spring doing a lot of trout fishing and camping off grid in the Cherokee National Forest bordering North Carolina Mountains. Having good luck also. Catching lots of rainbow trout. Just me the rushing Mountain Streams and occasional bear. Take care out there. Please stay safe and healthy. I always look forward to your videos.

@DispersedCamperMan Жыл бұрын
No, you couldn't. Craggy Wash is BLM and not part of the LTVA. I think you would have to leave for 30 days, then you can come back to that site. There are lots of other BLM camping spots real close to craggy wash though.

Nice area Mark. I liked Lake Havasu city too and London Bridge even though it's in Arizona now. You've been on the road for quite a while this trip. Hello Mark. Thanks for sharing another great video. My wife and I just sold our fifth wheel and ordered a new truck camper. I was wondering about the brand of those leveling ramps you’re using? Thanks so much!
@DispersedCamperMan3 жыл бұрын
Excellent choice going with a truck camper. I really love mine. I us the rhino ramps that you can pick up at Wal-Mart. I like using the ramps because it makes leveling the truck faster. They are large and does take up a lot of space but I like using them. They do wear out , so I buy another set every other year or so. amzn.to/3y2YBxb

Hey Mark, in one of your videos you mentioned using solar LED rope lights under the engine compartment at night to deter mice. I was wondering what your opinion is since you’ve had more time to evaluate it? Thanks!
@DispersedCamperMan3 жыл бұрын
I used the LED Lights under my engine and truck every time I was stopped at a place over night to keep the rats out of my truck and keep them from chewing on engine wires. I don't know if it works or not, but during my stay in the desert, I didn't have any rodent problems. I would stay up to a week at times in the desert and I know there were kangaroo rats in the area because I could see evidence of them and I actually caught them on my trail camera in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpPUpHpnirZln7s If the lights work or not? I don't know. Maybe I was lucky. LOL I'm headed back out West after Christmas sometime, and I'll be using the LED lights again. Hope this helps.

@DispersedCamperMan3 жыл бұрын
Yes they are. There is usually a sign that says fires are allowed. But you are allowed to light camp fires on BLM public lands. The only thing I would suggest is not to light one if it's real windy. Other than that, lots of folks had camp fires.

There are several good spots up in this area. What's cool is that T-Mobile has an excellent 5-G service in this area. This means you can kick back, pop a Guinness, light a cigar, and watch Australians being dragged out of their homes and put behind barbed wire COVID Camps. Germans being locked up in their homes. Brits being stomped on by Met cops. It's a good feeling. I live in Arizona, and you don't.
@DispersedCamperMan3 жыл бұрын
There are in fact several good spots in that area, where I was camped, verizon was weak, but with my weBoost, it brought it in pretty decently. I really don't understand the rest of your comment about what the overseas part have to do with this camping spot, the only thing I can think of is you are an instigator. Also, I might not live in Arizona, but I was born in Arizona; in fact, I came into this world kicking and screaming in a hospital in Chandler, Arizona. Thanks for watching....
