For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. There is not a single soul who can change my beliefs because I know he’s real. I lost my grandpa in 2009 to cancer. After that I was suicidal. I was on the edge. I didn’t know weather I was gonna go through my actions or be taking away from my family. But the lord found me and saved me. Now here I am 11 years later, better, stronger and saved by a lord who died and rose again.

Living in an athiest-dominated area and being raised in a irreligious Christian household, I've come to the real Jesus, the one that involves actually knowing him. This song is inspiring, because even though I wasn't raised to actually know who Jesus really is our read the bible, I want my children and grandchildren to be. In social studies we have role call questions instead of just saying here. One day, the question was "what's your favorite book?" And I said the bible and probably about 5 or 6 people laughed. I love Jesus, and I pray for his kingdom to come. Amen

We played this song at my husband's funeral in March 2017. This was always his dream though. His dream was to have a farm with animals and a small house just for our small family. He never got to see that dream come true, but someday, maybe I'll have enough money to make that dream come true for him. RIP my love. Remember, we were made in Heaven, and when we meet again, it will be for eternity.

I have posted this to my wall several times on FB and this song hits the heart with an amazing feeling as we all know that our days are numbered and when I die, I want this song played. It is about believing that GOD does exist and what we were taught as children has now spilled over to my own children. Everyone can believe in what they want to when they die but, as a "Country Lady" and being out in the country in the Corn Fields of Nebraska, The Rocky Mountains of Colorado or the Coast of WA State. GOD can be seen everywhere if you just look hard enough!!! We can't wait to see you back in Colorado soon. You are one HIGH Class Country Artist and Song writer that those words will move your soul!!!!! THANK YOU!!!

I met,Craig at his concert in Morenci last year and, bought his CD. This song tears me up every. Single. Time. I lost my grandpa in 99, my aunt in 2005, my husband in 2006, my grandchild last year and my grandma this year. This song completely reduces me to tears.

Love doesn't mean you have to be side by side. It means no matter what you have someone that will hold you close whenever you need it. So hold his memory close til yal are side by side again.

My grandpa taught me about buck knifes and shot guns How to cast an old Zebco And how to work a stick shift He taught me the bible about all twelve disciples And he made sure that I know there's life after this With pearly gates and streets of gold He said if I just believe that's where I'll go Lord when I die I wanna live On the outskirts of Heaven Where there's dirt roads for miles Hay in the fields and fish in the river Where there's dogwood trees and honey bees And blue skies and green grass forever Lord when I die, I wanna live on the outskirts of Heaven Now it says in the King James in the Almighty's kingdom He mentions a mansion that he's built just for me Now I'd gladly trade it for a farm house with acreage And a back yard that's shaded and a squeaky front porch swing That's where I wanna hang my wings When I die I wanna live on the outskirts of Heaven Where there's dirt roads for miles Hay in the fields and fish in the river Where there's dogwood trees and honey bees And blue skies and green grass forever So Lord when I die, I wanna live on the outskirts of Heaven Yeah Yeah, the good Lord knows me He knows I need blue skies and green grass forever Lord when I die I wanna live on the outskirts of Heaven Yeah, when I die I wanna live on the outskirts of Heaven
