Great overview. After looking at a lot of edc knives I did end up buying the clinch pick as my edc. I carry a Sog in my back pack for cutting and general use junk but the CP is a great knife for use in confined space and in a hand to hand situation when you need to create space to get to your gun

Knives are a funny thing in Vegas. I can carry my firearm, open or concealed, pretty much anywhere but I can't carry a knife with a blade longer than 4" and it must be visible. How does that make any sense? I would EDC a 6" blade concealed if I could.

I can go on a 3 paragraph rant about the many problems with folding knives, but I won't, instead I'll say, fix blades offer the strength and durability that no folding knife will ever be able to offer. Not even one with a dead lock

I carry a fixed blade every day, right hip at 4 oclock. Fuck a Folder, shits for kids & women, carrying around a knife that is green/purple sparkle with a m35cvHdX22 steel blade, LOL. I go to Blade Show and i honestly have to laugh at 80% of the people there,a guy will have 25 knives and never used one of them, all look brand new, LOL
