I was “lucky” enough to summer in Cumbernauld yearly in the late 60’s and early 70’s. I was sent to visit my grandmother she lived across the road from that school. I lived in Huntington Beach, California, so you can imagine how excited I was to not go to the beach everyday. I had a bunch of friends. I’m the same age as Craig so we might have known some of the same people.

This is my home town. I was going to go film the same areas again how are are now, but the school is now demolished and the rest just looks the same. Anyway we will begin at Torbrex Road soon again with professional film gear in 4K but wait until Spring/Summer 2017. By that time maybe it will have stopped raining.

He went to the same high school as me. He hung around cumbernauld theatre same as me. Some of my pals were his pals. In fact one of those pals wrote gags for him when he had a show on the BBC. Hes even drank in my local pub. So how come ive never met him?

these towns in Scotland look the same to this day. The houses were all 'pre'fabricated" and asbestos was used. Its too big a job too demolition them. Cumbernauld, Livingstone, Glenrothes......
