Craig Johnston points the finger for England's failures and surprise surprise, it's the top - the place where nothing ever gets changed that matters a damn.

damn right. there are millions of people pissing themselves at England. We will be in big trouble for years and years to come unless the FA is completely gutted of all the overpaid, underworked arseholes that are destroying the future of English football.

Absolutely spot on. I've been involved in youth football for ten years and I'm sick of it. We shouldn't let any child under 13 years old get involved in a competitive league, they should just concentrate on friendlies and skills. Instead, the coaches and parents become obsessed with winning a meaningless league, applauding kids who can launch it twenty yards.

As valid in 2016 as it was in 2008. Players such as Sterling and Alli should've been the results of skills training in 2008. Look what we have? Headless chickens like Sterling, Alli, Ox, Ibe, etc. None can beat a player, no end product.

I am a Liverpool fan during the era of Johnston, Rush, Barnes, Dalglish, Souness etc etc. Unfortunately Johnston never play for the Socceroos!! Craig, you're a legend mate, congratulations with the Alex Tobin Award!!

Unfortunately the Aussies were not very good back in those days, so not much international play. We loved watching Liverpool and followed them ever since the 70s and very proud of our Aussie implant.

We don’t see Craig on our tv these days so it was a pleasant surprise to see him on utube.

Hit the nail on the head CJ, problem with the beautiful game is it has been hijacked by people only concerned in making money. The only bodies important to FIFA, UEFA, Premier League FA etc are the massive corporate companies who scratch each others backs. Sad days, bring the game back to the PEOPLE and yes our kids. Stop councils charging a fortune for pitches which because of cut backs suffer in their upkeep, eg no changing facilities, grass being left uncut etc.

And here we are again. It's a pity that he has walked away from the game.
