I pray that Craig and the boys survive the afterparty. Jiu Jitsu needs this to happen again. The format worked, the pit worked, the announcers were great, the vibe, the matchups, Tackett energy, heck even the sideshow stuff actually worked. I expected a little Fyre festival, but this was awesome!

@@LocalChoker I agree. However, there was something to learn from that. I think the argument is that Levi wanted to stay on bottom and engage and Kade wanted to stay on top and engage. Levi knew Kade was a threat in standing. So he chose to play bottom. Kade realized fast that Levi was a threat passing so he did not play guard. Kade's action to play guard and let Levi pass told him real quick, he was a threat there so he stood up. So yes, Levi wanted no part of the wrestling. But, likewise, Kade wanted no part in Levi's passing game. Ultimately, can't be mad at someone for choosing their A game in a tournament whether it's top or bottom. You just have to deal with it. Been into jj for a long time, best event I have ever watched. Hopefully the metrics are good enough to have a CJI2.

Hands down the best Grappling/BJJ event ever put together. Such a positive vibe, absolutely incredible match-ups helped by a rule-set that rewards action and with donations flying in to charities. All the while the competitors got handed their worth.

Night 2 was definitely better man. I actually watched this over UFC. Everything was great about the show. I only have one criticism. If you could find a way to make the first night as long as the second night, it would be perfect. Maybe one weight bracket per event or something and do multiple days or multiple events. The first event went on way too long. Props to those who were in attendance for that long.

Huge success. Craig Jonesy put together the best grappling tournament to date because of smart marketing and business practices. If he has the same investors, then next year will be even bigger because more grapplers will elect to do the CJI and make it even more competitive and lucrative. Excellent work.

Amazing event! Kade and Nicky Rod deserving winners! Tackett stand out matches! I do feel abit deep for Levi! Incredible run. Insane guard and display of Jiujitsu. Pushed Kade all the way. Razor thin. Deserved a little bonus 🪙 for that run. One of the best guards in the game! Levi instructional. Cash in lad!

I wanted to cry too Gabi 😅. Thank you Craig and thank you for everyone involved in getting light on this sport for people like me to find it and fall in love with it.

This was pulled off like a dream. TBH, the Craig/Gaby fight ended up being the least entertaining for me, and I still enjoyed watching it for what it was. I’m blown away by the execution. Whoever they have working behind the scenes, hats off to you! And it feels like the vibe in the room was great. I can’t wait for the next CJI!

Amazingly successful event. I’ve been a fan of MMA for decades, but never once watched a BJJ tournament before. This had it all, sport, skill, humour. Congrats to all involved. Also think this was brilliant for Gabi’s perception by the community, I think she has gone up in almost everyone’s estimations.

What a epic show! By far the best and most entertaining Bjj tournament in history. From beginning to end! Great athletes, amazing commentators, the pit is such a great setting for the fights. Finally no interruptions every 5 seconds! What a fantastic day for our sport! Thanks to everyone who participated in making this happen!!! We love you Craig ❤

Levis guard is so technical and it’s beautiful jiujitsu to watch. It’s so important to see this style of jiujitsu as it’s a clash of styles. The wrestling style is exciting to watch but Levi’s style is pure jiujitsu.

What a wonderful event, honestly I felt like ti was a new breath of air into the grappling world. The feel of it (as an older guy who has been watching and doing grappling since mid 90's) was that of the first ADCC's, the invitational aspect combined with the big boy money made for a level of excitement, mystery and suspense (I know that sounded a bit wierd but I had to say it this way) that mad for a truly amazing energy going into the event.| The announcers were amazing, what a good trio, the openness of the event really made me feel the community side of the grappling world, the ruleset and use of that Karate Combat ring was Awesome! I simply want to say....thank you! Thank you as a fan, as an older grappler/wrestler, as a guy who runs a small YT channel and as a fan of sports....thank you for this, this was cool, really cool!

@@corbinjohnson2793 ya that would be great but I highly doubt it. One just wants a small handful of stars they can grow by feeding them lesser competition, doubt they'd sign multiple stars in the same division. The Tackett bros deserve to get some big paydays. Think the bonuses they did should have been reversed, $50k to the most exciting fighter and $20k for best sub. Tackett deserved that $50k but I'm biased.
