Jrod's technique has improved so much. You see it in little pieces on the b-team yt channel, but it really showed here. The way he maintains control, pressure, then mounts. He seemed to have more success when he sought after position first, before submission.

Jay Rod was the MVP here, crazy performance. Insane escapes and equally insane pace kept the entire match. I'm about 10 years his senior so there's my excuse 😂 awesome to watch

I feel in his match against Owen, Nicky pulled guard more times than in all his previous matches combined. Really says a lot about both guys: Owens has great takedowns and get ups and Nicky is continuing to improve different aspects of his game.

He sat down but didn't really pull guard. Just used it to avoid upper body ties and foot sweeps so he could try shooting for the legs. Right after that foot sweep off the bat, he started sitting down. Good strategy and it payed off for him.

Owen just avoided engaging and Nicky pulled guard so he would stop running. Owen was trying his hand at the schaub shutdown.

It looks like Craig was trying to go for a flying triangle imo. He already had the far wrist and had gone for the collar tie as he jumped to get his outside leg over Gregors back/lats. Not surprised that Gregor, having been Craig's former Polaris teammate, knew Craig would probably try some bullshit and countered lol.

Craig smoked Gregor, B team looking A+ and I also like that the only advice given from the captain was an offensive joke but in respect B team were silent when Craig rolled, no one can tell Craig what to do but he still has a good sense of humour

Such an interesting rule that the judges would base their entire decision upon the last match. Apart from the early armbar attempt against J.Rod, I think B-Team was far more dominant across all the matches. I'm glad they walked away with the W, they were in control far more than Polaris.

The problem was the left arm, Nicky was trying to get a deep grip under the back on the reset, which he didn't have at all before.

Pretty funny seeing Owen defend this performance online saying he did more under xyz rules and Nickys not that good while also admitting his goal was to "Get Nicky Off" and not to try win.... You know because Nicky isn't good.... So hes not a threat ..... So we dedicated a guy to draw with him..... Great sportsmanship and input into the sport mate.

J Rod impresses the shit out of me every time he competes. At 21 yrs old. Dude is real deal the future of this amazing sport. B Team def have the best team in my opinion. Too bad they fell out with DDS
