I love how recently Ronnie Radke was giving SPEED shit about this Nike collab and saying "it's not very punk/hardcore to work with a brand like Nike" when it doesn't matter. I respect and appreciate humans like the ones in SPEED so much more than the Ronnie Radke's of the world. SPEED is super humble and DIY, it's so highly respected 🙌🏼🖤

The fact Speed said they used that opportunity to do it their way and lift up the careers of their friends just makes Radke even more of a fool

I would hardly call Speed a small Aussie band 😂 they spend majority of the year touring outside of Australia doing sold out shows, not many bands can pull that off.

It must be so hard for hardcore bands to make it MASSIVE and get invited to way bigger venues but they don’t allow people up on stage/have barriers and lumps of security between the crowd and band. And for Speed this really is their mastery. Allowing the primal energy to bleed onto the stage is just such a beautiful thing. It cannot change!

Such a sick episode! I personally love the attention HC is receiving in the bigger picture of heavy music. I fuk it’s their mindset and passion for HC!

Hardcore sets longer dan 30 minutes are never needed lol. Love the commitment. The routine of seeing a band for 20-30 minutes, 20-30 minute break, rince repeat 3/4/5 times is perfect. When i go out to a show i dont want to be bombarded with high energy for hours on end. Just like having spinning stages so there is no downtime or 2 mainstages next to each other. F*ck off with that shit.

Just a bunch of friends from a small town who wanted to play music together and put other mates on the map. That’s real love, props to SPEED, they have already carved their name next to some of the greats in the scene with this mindset alone.

You’d think someone would have the consideration to not injure let alone suplex any of the band members. Thankfully the injury wasn’t worse and the vibe was kept alive. Funny story though, I was suplexed in a mosh pit by an unknown person at a ERRA headliner while Void of Vision was playing. I hit the ground dumb hard and my friends and the rest of the crowd pushed him out of the venue. My knee had some cool colors on it for about a month.

The people not understanding moshing thing is ruining shows. So many people choose to stand near on in the pit and get so mad about taking a hit, then think that them deliberately attacking the person is all good because they got hit first. You don’t have to understand hardcore culture, but don’t go to shows if you can’t accept it and can’t take getting hit.
@Dayman42010 күн бұрын
Also how big these shows are getting hasn’t been great either, hardcore is in a tough spot as a fan because I want the bands to succeed but don’t want the shows to be ruined. I straight up skipped a free Speed show the other day because I just don’t find shows that big to be fun at all.
