And they are right, it’s a funny experiment to run in a game but the tweet just showed the guy didn’t care about the sport at all. Defense front 7 would be ok. Secondary, yes, there’s a problem there. There are a handful of Safeties, but they can’t cover. It would be exactly as shown; Tyreek Hill running free in the secondary all day long. Lamar has a big arm, too. Best the White team could hope for is that he’s off target too much. Also, if the Black team somehow needed a late Field Goal, or a big punt to pin the White team deep, well…

The white team front 7 would be elite. You'd have 2 starting safeties and 1 corner. The rest would be practice squad players or converted receivers. The white defense should be prevent oriented of the back end with heavy blitzing.

@@capcitycode2456 I actually think it's a simple answer, cultural environment. The white dudes tend to play big boy positions and cerebral positions. Meanwhile, black culture focuses more on speed, explosiveness and quick twitch ability. It doesn't matter the sport, white dudes are gonna overwhelmingly be the big dudes and cerebral dudes. Black dudes are gonna be the the fast and twitchy dudes. There will be some exceptions but this is generally the case. Maybe the cultural ties could go so far as to what was needed for survival in the continent they came from that created a genetic predisposition. You also have the cultural mindset on display in that white culture is more about protection and black culture is more about aggression. Also, think about this for a second. How many pocket elite passing black qb's can you think of where they rely almost exclusively on ball distribution? Now, think about how many elite dual threat white qbs you know? Another example. The most cerebral lineman position is center and it is over 86% white. Meanwhile, IDL is almost exclusively Black (and islander) dudes. These are a bit oversimplified and there are some exceptions but in general you do see the results of what each culture favors.

That was a lot of fun to watch. The deciding issue, for me at least, was the all white defensive secondary. The last white defensive back I can recall was Jason Seahorn (25 years ago?). The black wide receivers and even the backs are going to get behind the white secondary too often (IMO).

One thing people are overlooking is Rashard said "average white guys." He's not saying ALL white people cannot comment on the game/are bad at it; I would argue that every white guy in the NFL is by definition not "average," they are well above it. So for people like me (and frankly the dudes in this video), Rashard is saying we shouldn't be telling him or other black athletes how to play if we haven't played ourselves (i.e. guys think because they run a fantasy team they can be an NFL GM/coach). This is not at all how you should construct the white team. 😂 The white team needs to play white man ball, not the modern basketball on grass. It needs to be old school triple option ground and pound. You get some road grader o-linemen with 3 TE sets, Taysom Hill at QB, CMC, and then a fullback/TE/WR. You'd have 2 eligible coming out the backfield and 3 eligible all star TE's. You'd go max protect for any deep shots. Get Shanahan or McCvay in here to do develop a creative run game with Bubbles, slants, intermediate crossers, digs, screens, etc. You would methodically drive it down their throats in old school big boy football and throw it just enough to keep the pass rush honest. By the end of the game You'd have 40+ min of TOP. All You'd need is 1 stop or 1 turnover. On defense.....You'd have so many elite pass rushers it'd be crazy. You LBs would be legit. You'd have 2 solid safeties and an okay corner. Filling out the rest of your dbs would either be practice squad guys or converted WR's. Your defense would be a deeper prevent style zone defense and You'd be blitzing almost every down. You'd likely give up a lot between the 20's but there would be some chances for turnovers while clamping down a little bit when your white guys don't have to cover as much grass in the red zone. In short, You'd have to help protect your back end with a plethora of elite pass rushers. The lack of white corners is the biggest challenge. There are definitely areas the white team would have advantages and you have to play to those to avoid the glaring lack of corners. The black team would have a solid oline with weakness being the center. They'd have elite WRs, an elite QB with a solid RB and decent TEs. Tomlin would probably be the coach. I don't think there are any black place kickers but there is a punter. Kickoffs, field goals, and extra points could be a problem. They'd likely run a more modern offensive scheme and try to find ways to buy time for their elite pass catchers. It could be tough to find time going against the Bosa Brothers, Watt, and etc. On defense they'd have a stacked back end a good pass rush, solid LB's, and probably a better IDL. They would likely try to play with a 4 man pass rush on most downs, trusting their back end but if the white team does what I wrote above they are gonna have to stack 9 in the box, taking away from some of their strength and leaving them vulnerable to play action. Can't let any of those white TE's leak out or lose track of cmc or cupp. The game would be a lot closer than people think. Turnovers would be key. The black team would be a more balanced mostly modern style team and the white team would have some serious strengths and a major weakness.

Like I didn't even realize how much Whites out produce us at the edge rushing position. And alot of white people acknowledge how bad it actually is for our wr vs they CB. Really, the only issue on the White team, is the Secondary. Every other position, there's just as good White players as Black. TE & Kicker are the White advantage, but, its not really that big of an advantage having those 2 positions being what you have better players at.
