All you have to look at where Oregon was…and where they are now after their reboot in 1994. That’s why small schools need to compete with the big boys. Cus Oregon was at a g5 level four 90+ years, and is now one of the big boys.

HALF BACK DIRECT!!!! My favorite play ever. LoL I've been waiting for this for years. I ran the Air Raid but used the same formation, Shotgun Spread Flex (Trips) for all My audibles, from Halfback Direct, Slant Cross Wheel, PA Deep Outs, to the Hail Mary, no matter if I audibled from a run to a pass, none of my players moved. Great Times. I've already pre-ordered and put in vacation days. 🤣

Can we stop saying OU and Texas aren’t similar roster wise? OU has a much better defense and the offense is loaded at the skill positions. Texas has separation at the offensive line while OU has separation at the defensive line and secondary

That was shown last year when OU dominated Texas in the trenches defensively. OU has gotten even better on the defensive side of the ball meanwhile Texas got worse. OU has inexperience at offensive line which is really the only question mark on the roster outside of potentially Jackson Arnold

People forget that Auburn won 6 games last year and the Iron Bowl is still considered a top 2 rivalry in the country. Right now both Michigan and Ohio State are top teams. Of course the energy is high this year. In my opinion this is the reason the Iron Bowl is the best rivalry in college football

Regarding G5 in the playoffs: The top G5 school should get a bid for the CFB Playoff and the conference champions of the other conferences should have a 4 team playoff. This gives all of the top G5 schools a chance to shine

What the SEC fan boys miss is the B1G has to travel 4 time zones over a 2-3 week period and much longer flights. 9 conference games. SEC doesn't have this, plus an end of the year cupcake. Too bad SEC won't play a Northern Illinois on the road in November for their cupcake.

tbh I feel like if the group of 5 don't belong in the playoff(which they don't and I am a Coastal Carolina fan) then I think we either need to separate the power 4 and the group of 5 in there own divison just create a new divison of FBS and let the group of 5 have there fun just like the FCS divison 1 teams

OU is finally gonna have evening games lol 😂 instead of big noon kickoff every week. Look at the schedule disparity between OU and Texas the SEC isn’t scared of Texas but it is scared and respect the hell out of OU, the powers that be definitely make that clear. lol so literally every SEC game OU plays this yr the opponent either has a bye week or a weaker team at minimum. They understand that steps need to be taken to try and stack the deck against OU or else the SEC will simply be like every other conference we’ve been in OUr conference.

Not the same thing at all. The NIT is BB teams ranked 70-100 in the country, of course nobody cares. Tulane, Memphis, Liberty all play good football that people talk about even now. They’d do just as well as the Dukes Mayo Bowl or the Barstool Sports Bowl. Plus those teams already play bowl games, just turn them into a playoff

Far more people care about college football than basketball. March Madness is it's own thing but plenty people otherwise couldn't care less. Having a separate play off outside the same old teams in the P4 every year would draw an audience

Cut the sport to 72 teams. Out of those 72 you have 6 twelve team regional divisions. Take the winner of those six divisions and one or two at large in a playoff. Playoff games at home stadium sites. Rose Bowl as the Natty every year on NYD. You don't play anybody outside of those 72 teams. Play "G5" teams in televised Spring games and pay them. This is a better system for those teams on the outside because they can actually compete for a National Title at a lower level. That playoff would get good TV ratings. This is the best CFB system in my view. Thoughts?

Pate provides some good segments but he’s got 2 huge flaws: 1. His fake condescending tone is bizarre. “Ok kids…” “Whomst amongst us…” So lame and uppity. 2. He NEVER has any real inside info, despite his constant claims and teases. Also, if he says “baked in” one more time, it would be about the billionth time.
