I can’t wait to try this!!! I have some sweetened, dried cranberries, so I’ll be mixing all three...the regular cranberries, the dried cranberries and the raisins. I’m assuming you can use dried cranberries, yes?

Hi Bonita and Raymond. This bread looks amazing. I bet your kitchen smells wonderful. My husband and I are going to have house guests in a couple of weeks. They will be staying with us for 15 days. I have been cooking and baking like crazy and putting in the freezer. As soon as I get to a store and buy some oranges for that orange zest, I will be making these. I was thinking about making some big muffins instead of the bread and serving them at one of our breakfasts. I have just made banana bread and Dutch Apple bread, so I think that is enough sweet breads, but I thought about making a breakfast muffin. Thank you for sharing your recipe from Joy.

Hi and thank you for your message and for stopping by...you can use dried cranberries and maybe use less sugar because the raisins and dried cranberries have natural sugar in them. This is a lovely bread and enjoy to the fullest!! Bonita

Good question! I guess it is a cake but so is the banana bread a cake. But I guess because it's baked in a loaf pan we bake our dough for bread. I hope that helps and enjoy to the fullest!! :) Bonita

Cranberries is good for so much, I'm sure you can even leave out the sugar all together and only have the sweetness of the raisins and sourness of the cranberries. Enjoy to the fullest and thank you for stopping by. :) Bonita
