Edit: I spoke with Plungie about this video and they explained that this video was geared towards other builders, not consumers. So if you’re a builder you can buy this package for around $25,000 then your guys install it. Makes a lot more sense after they explained that to me. Plungie was very helpful and answered all my questions super quick so just wanted to clarify that. Saw this video when you uploaded, reached out to plungie and they sent me a builder here in Dallas where I am, just got quoted $80,000 for the Max installed. Was hoping for $25-35k also we have 2 acres with no trees to go over and plenty of room for a crane to drive in our flat back yard. Just wanted to clarify this wasn’t a hard install problem.

My parents’ neighbor installed a pool about this size, in SA, 50 miles south of Austin, but full custom, about the same timeframe as this video, took 6+ months from contract signed to installed. Cost over $75K. Inflation, labor shortages, materials shortages hit pool companies HARD.

I saw a video where you shot a piece of wood at osb and it went through it. Then you did the same thing to a piece of plywood and nothing happened. Would the plywood be stronger compared to zip 2.0? The real benefit most forget with a small pool is they are less expensive to operate. Think what it costs to heat 20,000 gallons and consider what it would cost to keep this small pool at a comfortable 82degrees! The chlorine bill will be less too! What ends up happening is you actually USE your pool because you don't mind paying to heat it! I've had large pools and will never again go down that road. In Florida, we would have to find a way to bolt it down to the ground. Everytime a big weather event comes, the pool might pop out of the ground. Though I do like the whole concept... Seems nice to have some thin wall options. Roof top pool savings also.

Swimming pools are for swimming hence the name. Unless your a very small person you aren’t going to swim easily in this. Sitting in the water and having a drink in my opinion makes it a big tub. I’m from Austin and unless you hook this up to a heat pump and cool it it’s going to be very warm water once summer hits.

Wow! Just seeing this video for the first time. Neat product with conflicting pricing on KZbin. Appears like contractors get a HUGE price break? This video leaves one to believe a homeowner can get a quality pool installed for under 25k, when other KZbin videos give a different perspective. A Carolina Plungie dealer list starting price of 52k! Deal breaker…. might as well get a custom vinyl pool
