This is a very important video for anyone treating babies and children. I have to say that babies became more calm during treatment when I started meditating on a regular basis. I find that the more present you can be in the moment when treating, the more calm the baby will be.

that's very true Stellis, and there's definitely no fooling babies, they can tell exactly what's going on for you. Now that can sound daunting, as what if you're having a bad day, or you're upset - should you then not treat that day? But that's the beauty of treating babies, when you're with them you get centered you get present, because you have to, and that then changes that bad day, or at the very least let's you reframe it so that you're not so reactive to it.

@@KindredAcademy Absolutely. I also found that once I began treating babies that I'm more patient with people in general. I believe if everyone was treated osteopathically as soon as they entered the world we'd have a much better world to live in. I live in Israel and I recently send this video to the 5th years in the school where I studied since they're having a baby course right now. I feel this is a very important video to show students who are about to graduate.

You are awesome! I'm on the 2nd year of Osteopathy and your videos are making me look to this area more closely. How many years until I become a baby and treat them like that? :)

I remember my 2nd year of Osteo - I definitely was 100% not like a baby other than crying like a baby when the exams came around!!

Adults feel "pushing" in a therapists intention also, they are just too polite to say anything. They say it by not coming back.

Yes very true, the feedback isnt perhaps as instantaneous as with babies, but if a lot of adult patients are only coming to see you once you're either doing a great job or you're not!
