I don't know if you know but that 2black attach thing on cranial plating is an ability not an equipment cost. So that last game what you could have done was swing with the 3 flyers and if your opponent had a response to the lethal attacker you could have used your spring leaf drums to produce the 2 b mana and attach plating to one of the other flyers. Learned that trick long time ago when I first got into magic, affinity was my first competitive deck I ever through together of my own accord lol.
